A ONE-TWO PUNCH AGAINST THE FORCES OF EVIL. GOD'S OWN MESSENGER.. by Chinyere Obinna

God in his infinite love for us has made provisions for his children to stay in communion with him, through his words, through prayers and the guiding hands of his messengers, who come in the forms of ministers, Pastors, preachers, teachers of the word, evangelists, etc. While some aspire to become Ministers of the word of God through diligent studies and discipline, others are called by God through a direct encounter with the divine creator of the Universe. The Bible teaches us to test every spirit to ensure that it is truly of God. 1 John 4. "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." While a vast majority of Ministers are operating out the love of God, only a few are truly empowered with the true gift of the touch of God, the power to cast out demons and his stronghold from the lives of the people of God.

I witnessed the power of God at work through the ministry of Pastor Isidore Agoha. Tucked away in a nondescript area of the Bronx in New York City, the Triumphant Life Church is a powerhouse of change, under the auspices of Pastor Isidore Agoha, who has a mandate from God to change lives and draw his people closer to him. From the moment that he opens his mouth to teach the word of God, you immediately know that here is a true messenger of God, who hears directly from God. Pastor Isidore lays down the frame-work of a life for Christ, through his authoritative teachings of the word of God. It is as if God himself instructed him and laid his words in his heart. Pastor Agoha's teachings unlocks the mysteries of the Bible and plants the truth of God into the heart of the hearer. He did for me. For years, I was under a dark cloud that pulled me down no matter how hard I struggled to stay grounded in faith. I was simply going through the motions - I was deeply involved in church activities, as a Sunday School teacher and Praise and Worship leader, but deep down, the devil kept me from truly gaining a close relationship with God. I had a great and compassionate Pastor, who truly loved God and was called into a ministry of healing; but none of these could dispel the clouds that seemed to follow me despite my struggles to stay grounded in faith. All that changed through the ministration of Pastor Isidore.
The first time I heard him teaching, I was awed and amazed at the scope of his knowledge of the mind of God. Through his teachings, Pastor Isidore breaks down the Bible to its minutest detail and keeps the interest of his audience. Even after a long day at the office and a two-hour commute to the church, I remained alert and keenly interested in his words. In the next installment, I will discuss other aspects of the ministry of this amazing man of God.
